Emma Gruver, PA-C

Emma Gruver is a certified physician assistant at Family Medical Care of Lawrence County, where she joined the team in August 2026. A native of West Middlesex, Pennsylvania, Emma completed the accelerated 3+2 Physician Assistant program at Lock Haven University (Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania), earning a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. She received her degree and national certification in 2026.

During her training, Emma completed clinical rotations across a wide range of specialties, including family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, psychiatry, endocrinology, pediatric dermatology, emergency medicine, and general surgery. Her family medicine rotation was at Family Medical Care of Lawrence County, giving her an early connection to the practice and the community it serves.

Emma is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).

Outside the office, Emma enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors. Her hobbies include running, boating, water sports, exercising, reading, and hunting.
